In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the Court of Appeals orders of June 4, 1996, and July 24, 1996, dismissing the appeals, are vacated, and the case is remanded to that Court for reconsideration of those decisions. MCR 7.302(F)(1). If the Court of Appeals adheres to its decision to dismiss, it is to explain why that action is appropriate in light of the Court’s August 31, 1995, order denying the motion to dismiss, and the order dated February 14, 1996, as amended March 27, 1996, adding the circuit court file number to the appeal and stating:

It is this Court’s conclusion after an extensive review of this matter that both the claim of appeal and the claim of cross-appeal were appeals of both circuit court number 88-6757-CK and Court of Claims number 88-11786. . . . Appellant can and did appeal both cases.

Jurisdiction is not retained.
