On order of the Court, the motion for immediate consideration and the motion for stay of proceedings are GRANTED. The application for leave to appeal the August 16, 1999 decision of the Court of Appeals is considered and it is GRANTED. The parties shall include in their briefs a discussion of the applicability of MCL 600.1629; MSA 27A.1629 where there are multiple causes of action sounding in tort and multiple defendants.
