On order of the Court, the motion for immediate consideration, the motion to file brief amicus curiae, the motion for stay of proceedings, and the application for leave to appeal from the January 2, 2001 decision of the Court of Appeals are considered. The motion for immediate consideration, the motion to file brief amicus curiae, and the motion for stay of proceedings are GRANTED. It appearing to this Court that the case of Travelers Ins Co v Detroit Edison Co (Docket No. 116610) is pending on appeal before this Court and that the decision in that case may resolve an issue raised in the present application for leave to appeal, we order that the application be held in ABEYANCE pending the decision in that case.
