Pursuant to MCR 7.302(G)(1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we reverse the judgment of the Court of Appeals for the reasons stated in the Court of Appeals dissenting opinion at pages 1-2. The plaintiffs have standing to seek declaratory relief concerning the validity of the early retirement provisions of the collective bargaining agreement under the standards articulated in Nat’l Wildlife Federation v Cleveland Cliffs Iron Co, 471 Mich 608, 614-615 (2004), and Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation v Nestlé Waters North America Inc, 479 Mich 280, 295-296 (2007). We remand this case to the Court of Appeals for consideration of the remaining issues raised by the plaintiffs in that court. We do not retain jurisdiction.
