On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal from the July 2, 1998 decision of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is GRANTED. The parties shall include among the issues to be briefed whether the alleged error in the waiver of counsel process amounted to a jurisdictional defect so as to satisfy MCR 6.508(D)(3), and whether, if so, an issue of jurisdictional significance can be subject to harmless error analysis.
