By order of July 8, 1999, the prosecutor was ordered to show cause why the conviction should not be reversed because the Michigan circuit court did not have jurisdiction to try defendant based on the facts of this case. The defendant’s application for leave to appeal from the July 31, 1998 decision of the Court of Appeals, the prosecutor’s response to this Court’s July 8, 1999 order to show cause and the defendant’s response thereto are considered.

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal is DENIED because we are not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court.

Cavanagh and Kelly, JJ., would grant leave to appeal.
