576 N.W.2d 168
Docket No. 108050.Supreme Court of Michigan.
Leave to Appeal Denied March 24, 1998.
Court of Appeals No. 170140.
By order of April 22, 1997, 454 Mich. 894, this case was remanded to the Court of Appeals for consideration of whether waiver of the right to counsel is subject to a harmless error analysis and, if so, whether any error in advising defendant about the dangers of self-representation was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt. The Court of Appeals having responded by opinion of September 26, 1997, in which it held that waiver of the tight to counsel was subject to harmless error analysis and that any error here was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt, the application is again considered, and it is denied because the Supreme Court is not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed. Further, the matter is remanded to the Court of Appeals for consideration of the remaining issues in defendant’s appeal of right.
